2025-26 NJIT Scholarships

The Aunt Betty Fund of Washington DC, in partnership with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark and Quantifi Solutions of New York, is launching an innovative new scholarship program for highly qualified students within one year of receiving their degree in a STEM discipline. The scholarships will cover the unmet financial needs of undergraduates who face financial hurdles. The scholarships will vary in size and are expected to average up to $8,000. Funding will be provided by Quantifi and its employees and by other donors of The Aunt Betty Fund.

The online link to our scholarship application will open by 11:59 pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The deadline for submitting completed applications will be 11:59 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Is a current undergraduate student in good standing at NJIT and registering for Spring 2026 classes.
  2. Plans to complete a STEM degree no later than June 2027.
  3. Is a US citizen.
  4. Has not previously defaulted on a student loan.
  5. Has no convictions, adjudicated complaints, or settlements involving felonious acts or violation of the rights of others.

Guidelines

All responses on your application must be your own work, with no heavy coaching or editing by others. Applicants must disclose the nature and extent of any use of artificial intelligence. Misrepresenting your academic or work history, credentials, income, student loan balances and payments, other debts, housing status, dependents, tax forms, or other material information on your application is unacceptable. Such misconduct may result in disqualification or withdrawal of your scholarship.

We recommend completing the application on a laptop or desktop computer rather than a mobile device.

Our application form is comprised of a series of sections or pages which are accessible from your dashboard. You should complete all mandatory items on a page before advancing to the next page. Mandatory items are marked with an *.

Your responses to items on each page will be saved automatically when you hit the Next button to advance to the next page. To avoid loss of information you have entered or uploaded, we recommend using the Save button from time to time while working on your application.

We strongly recommend not waiting until the last day to complete and submit your online application and required attachments such as your FAFSA form. If you miss your deadline because of technical or connection problems, or for any other reason, unfortunately you will not be able to apply until the next award cycle.

Additions or changes to your application may not be made after it has been submitted.
